Blogging Blues
I’ve started writing at strayangel again. I’m going to continue writing here too. Hopefully. I don’t know which one is going to dominate yet but all bets point towards the blogger blog. Hey, I like having more variety in my templates and besides it’s wayy older, almost as old as my first blog. Even so, that place has a bad history so we’ll see how it goes.

“I’ve never heard a Christian say that writing about it will make people lose faith in Christianity. ”
You can’t be seriously saying that, can you?
It occurs in EVERY religion. Come on, i expect you to be less naive than that (no offense intended)
Why would the clergy provide a “safe haven” for these pedophiles? They don’t but don’t want to admit it because of the damage it would do to Christianity.
Oh, I didn’t read this. I just switched and didn’t look back. No offense taken. I said I hadn’t heard it. I had heard something similar coming from Muslims a ton of times. Maybe I don’t interact with a lot of “dedicated” Christians. Either way, I was narrating my personal experience. How one interprets it is different. I’m writing this from memory now. I don’t remember the link of the whole debate. Oh and I totally agree with your second sentence. Except if I may say so, hiding such a hideous crime for any reason is cowardly and wrong, and is akin to providing them a “safe haven”. If people trust in what I say and I know that a person has done wrong and there is compelling evidence of the same but I refuse to “admit it” I am in effect protecting a criminal. I’m lying as a witness. Barabie, you always end up dissecting words and sentences. I’m sure you get the meaning behind what someone is trying to say or at least the intent so why not try and let it go at that?
